Glass fusing and slumping is a popular technique which involves placing glass into a kiln to melt and fuse pieces together. The technique is often used in architectural applications, doors and for decorative purposes.

The glass fusing and slumping class will cover aspects of:

  • Fusing and forming glass
  • Fused or laminated inclusions for leadlight/stained glass
  • Safety
  • Compatibility
  • Annealing
  • Texturing
  • Using various techniques to create glass objects.

Our glass fusing and sluping course is open to beginners.

The course fee includes the use of all studio tools and equipment including kiln firing, supply of float glass for your first project piece and a selected range of fusable glass for your final project.
