Float Glass is produced by moving the metled glass over a bed of molten tin. This process leaves an invisible tin coating on one side. The tinned side should be determined and must face up when using Hotline Glass Powders and Frits. For determining the tinned side of float glass a Tin Scope (cat no. 52180) or other suitable light sources should be used for detecting the tinned side of glass.
